Thom shoved his trunk with all his might and it settled into place on the luggage rack with a thud. Heaving a sigh of relief that he hadn't dropped it on his head like last year he threw himself onto a seat and placed his hands behind his head. It felt good to be going back, he loved Hogwarts and couldn't wait to start lessons again, although there was a rumour going around that all the teachers were ill so how they were supposed to teach anyone he had no idea. then again it was only a rumour.
Thom looked out of the window at the people milling about on the platform to see if there was anyone he knew. Trust his father to drop him off too early because he had a meeting to go to, leaving his sister to be looked after by the house elf yet again. He couldn't see anyone yet, but then again it was only 10.30. He sighed and climbed up on the seat to get a book out of his trunk, Hogwarts a History. He sat down and flicked to the page he stopped at the night before and continued reading.
He was so immersed in the book he didn't notice the compartment door open and close as someone else entered and only looked up when they spoke to him, making him jump.

Atticus opened the carriage door and placed his trunk up above the empty seat he turned and looked over at Thomas and spoke in a cold chilling voice
"Good Morning Thomas, how are you today?" He loomed over Thomas a menace in his eyes the same menace that had been there a week earlier in Diagon Alley "How have you been since our little adventure hope it wasnt all to much for you?"
Atticus wore suit trousers a pair of black leather shoes A white shirt with a Emerald skinny Tie that shone in the morning sun that beamed through the window on top of that he was black robes embroided with silver serpents that moved when you were not looking

Thom jumped and dropped the book, he looked up and saw Atticus had just put his trunk on the luggage rack opposite him.
"I'm fine, thank you Atticus. I've been rather bored since we last met if I'm honest, I think I've decided that it wasn't that big a deal, I mean no one got really hurt did they. I just needed time to mull over what happened." he said as he picked up his book and placed it on the seat beside him. "Yourself?" he asked politely secretly wishing that Atticus would go and find friends in his own year to hang around with once the train left the station.

"I to have been bored I need a thrill the joy of the hunt and the chaos the knowing that your doing wrong and some one is out there trying to stop you" Atticus looked at Thomas "so You came to your senses then realised it weren't such a big thing you seemed shaken I didn't know if I could count on you to keep our secret"
Atticus eyes darkened ad locked onto Thomas's "Cause if I find out that you have ratted me out there will be hell to pay pain so bad you will wish it to stop with every fibre of your being" Atticus looked at Thomas his eyes furious his height making him loom over him
"Do you know what the key to causing pain is Thomas you don't strike your victim you hurt every one around them and then when there finally on there knees begging you to stop you look them in the eyes and thats when you... " Atticus stopped and then steady himself "Well I dont want to spoil the surprise. So are we clear Thomas? Your either with with me or against me and it doesn't pay to be against me"

Thom was surprised that Atticus' threats didn't scare him as much as they would have done before the Diagon Alley incident and he felt a sudden urge to answer back as opposed to letting himself be told what to do. He raised an eyebrow. "Atticus, you may be older than me, and you may be more experienced with the dark arts, but I don't respond well to threats, especially when there was no need for them to be made in the first place." he said coolly.
"Besides, if I ratted you out you'd be rotting in a cell in Azkaban faster than you can say Dementor, you forget my father is higher up in the ministry than yours, and other places where he seems to think it counts more."
Atticus didn't even know about Thom's sister, or if he did, there was no way he could get to her while they were both at school and she was the only person he cared about. Either way Thom wasn't worried, he had little contact with her thanks to his father, not that he hadn't tried, she was so cute when she laughed. Now however was not the time to be thinking about it though.
"If you really thought I was going to rat you out you wouldn't have asked me to join you." Thom picked up his book again, glad he had stood up for himself, half fearing the retort that Atticus was going to fire back him, not that he'd be able to do anything to him at school.

Atticus looked at him a little dumbfounded then a little laugh came to his mouth
"You my friend has grown a back bone and that I like your more use to me with a backbone that if you still want to work With me " Atticus stressed a couple of his words so Thomas knew he meant no harm
He sat down and leant forward towards Thomas speaking to him as an equal "Thomas i have a plan and i need to know if you want in I cant tell you what unless i know you want in"

Thom glanced over the top of his book at Atticus as he replied and smiled to himself glad his retort had turned out for the better. He was almost sure Atticus had emphasised the 'with' on pupose, he didn't seem the kind of person to say things for no reason.
Thom found himself intrigued by the plan that Atticus was talking about, he half shut the book, keeping his finger in between the relevant pages.
"What kind of plan, are we talking more of what happened in Diagon Alley or something more subtle?"

"Um its complicated its alot more deadly than Diagon Alley, People will die if things go to plan so if thats to heavy for you then I understand I would just like you not to get in my way "
Atticus rubbed his palms together at the thought of the plan it had come to him not long after there antics in diagon alley and was truely evil

Thom listened and ran his options through in his mind. He could rat on Atticus to his dad, but that would mean admitting what he had done, and probably getting into trouble for it himself. Option two, say 'no thanks' and let Atticus get on with it, meaning no personal risk, no chance of dying and generally being boring.
Or option three, agree to join in, and then be stuck with whatever Atticus told him to do. He'd done it once before, got half a bottle of firewhiskey and some free practise at hexing using someone else's wand when he wasn't supposed to be doing magic for very little in the way of repercussions.
"Alright, I'm in, as long as you realise I'm not up to personally killing anyone myself. Like I said, you're more practised in the dark arts than me." he said, putting the book aside suddenly more interested in the conversation than Hogwarts a History. "Considering the ease at which someone could overhear us, what can you tell me?"
At that moment, the train began to move, at first a creeping movement, similar to the pace of a snail, but gradually growing as they left the station and waving parents behind them.

"Well for start this is bigger than just me or you we will need another person at bare minimum, remember the book I got at borgin and burkes well it has a ritual in it to summon something that one of us could control. We use before mention Creature to take control of the Great hall at some sort of feast prehaps end of year or sooner." Atticus looked out of the window watching as they began to pull away from the station
"When creature is in hall we use it to purge the mud bloods and blood traitors out you bolt with acomplices and well so far I cant see any escape for me" His eyes darkened at that thought he knew of no way to escape meaning he would be caught and he would be given 'The Kiss'

Thom listened intently, surprised that a week ago he would have run a mile at this news but not now, this excited him, this was dangerous, this was the future his father had hinted at over the summer, the time when blood would shine.
"Sounds like fun, I'm in." he said. Raising a creature, an inferi possibly, or was that a step too far, even for Atticus? Somehow Thom didn't think so.

Atticus Looked at Thomas "Have you any knowledge of the fidelius charm?" Atticus quizzed "Im trying to think of ways we can keep this as quiet as possible I've only ever read about the fidelius charm and even then it didn't mention how it was done"
Atticus looked out the window for a minute as if thinking "Other option is we take the unbreakable vow to keep this quiet and that would require a third as a witness spose for now will just have to trust each other"

"Fidelius Charm? No, never. What does it do?" Thom asked curious as to what kind of dark spell would disguise itself as a charm. He raised his eyebrows, keeping it between as few people as possible would help keep it quiet for a start, and Thom wasn't about to go and shout about it, but then again, if they did bring anyone else in on it, how were they to know if they were as trustworthy?
"Now an unbreakable vow I know about," he said raising an eyebrow. "Unfortunately without a witness the spell is void, so unless we have any reason not to trust each other, trust will have to do." he said looking straight at Atticus, the evil glint in Atticus' eyes mirrored in his own.

Atticus Nodded "Yeah fidelius Charm , from what I understand you nominate a secret keeper that person is then the only person who can reveal the secret it is impossible for any one else to divulge the information"
Atticus Looked at Thomas seeing a evil glint in his eye brought a warm feeling to his inside if Aticus was even a little responsible for that he was happy. Still looking at Thom he spoke "Yeah I can rely on trust for now its if we get more people involved which we will have to"

"Now that's cleared up, any particular ideas about how you're going to go about doing this?" he asked leaning back lazily into the softness of the back of the seat and looking out of the window. He felt very grown up all of a sudden, or did he mean powerful? Whatever it was, it felt good.
