*You can have relationships on the board, but no slash and keep things no higher then a PG13 rating.

*You character may be any age (11 and up), but if we have a problem with too many students in one year, you may be forced to choose another.

*No one line posts. Try to keep your spelling and grammar to a high quality. It makes things much easier when reading posts. Plus, it helps the person you're role playing with. If you need help with this, check out our RP Guidelines.

*No double posting, or God-moding. If you're talking to someone on a thread, then let them speak for themselves. If they're not online when you make your reply, wait for them to reply to you.

*No Legilimency/Occlumency;, unless it is stated in your character Bio, after you register. Also, don't take advantage of this. Be aware that it takes eye contact, a wand, and a spell to use, so you might need the permission of the other person.

*Posts about depression, self harm and suicide are not permitted. It is not nice for people to read, brings down the mood, and not consistant with the Harry Potter universe. There are more specialised boards for things like that. DO NOT bring this kind of role playing, to Marauders Dream.

*Try to keep on topic in all your posts. Keep in character at all times. You can talk about off topic things in the Chat Room forum.

*Once you have been sorted into your house, you will be sent a PM with the common room password.

*Graphics may be no longer than 550 pixels wide and 250 tall. There are to be no double or triple signatures (house banners, 'blinkies', and 'Addicted to MD' banners are permitted, if left to a minimum). You may always link to any other signatures you have, though, assuming that that link ONLY takes the clicker to another graphic and not another board.

*There is absolutely NO advertising in your graphics, including links in your signature or personal text. There is an advertising board at your disposal, and we are always accepting affiliates as well. This is a punishable offense.

*If you have a complaint or problem, there is a board specifically designated for this. If you would like to keep your issue private, then feel free to PM one of the three Administrators (the list can be found in the top table) with your problem, and we will do our best to get it worked out for you and everyone else.

*You are allowed more than one character, but only if you can keep up with your characters. Keep in mind only one person per account. You can always make another if you want another character.

*But most of all, have fun.
